MERCEDES VISEEO MBU1000 BLUETOOTH UPGRADE KIT
MBU1000 Bluetooth Upgrade Kit is designed for Mercedes cars built between
1999 - 2003 (& some 2004). The MBU 1000 Bluetooth adapter is designed to provide full functionality and integration with the Mercedes in-built car kit.
The MBU1000 will pair with any Bluetooth phone and provide integration via the steering wheel controls for all incoming and out going phone calls. The MBU1000 is compatible with
all iphones including iPhone 4 & 4S
Compatible Nokia handsets include Nokia 6210/6310 cradle ( the MBU1000 does
not work with the
Nokia 3310).

From 2005 onwards most car kits installed in the Mercedes use the
UHI connector. The universal UHI connector enables
MB3 or
MB4 Viseeo Bluetooth kits to be used
MBU1000
Check the cradle in the car carefully as there are some car kit variations across the years of manufacture. The Nokia cradle in the Mercedes will either have a 6150 or 6210 cradle fitted into cars between 1999 – 2003 / 2004. Some Mercedes built between 2003 – 2005 used a 6310 / 6310i cradle. The one common item to look for compatibility is the
“Curly” phone cord
If you have any of the above features – the only Bluetooth upgrade kit which will fit the car kit is the MBU1000
